Vancouver
So we got back to Vancouver on the 4th of January. The captain of the airplane said that we wouldn't be able to taxi into our parking spot since there is too much snow and that we would need to get pulled to the spot. We waited just at the end of the runway for that pulling machine. But we made it off the plane after some time!
While we were away in Europe we heard of some friends that there was a lot of snow in Vancouver. Half an hour before we landed in Vancouver it started to snow again, heavy. It took us two hours to get home in a taxi, it was a massive gongshow. We were pretty lucky so because 30 min. after we arrived the the airport got closed.
At the airport, we had to wait about 45 min. for a taxi.

We hardly could get to our place - luckily our landlords cleared our walkway to our entrance door.
After getting used to Vancouver again we went night skiing on Grouse Mountain a couple of days later.
We didn't need a fridge anymore.
I started to ride my bike to work, got the whole set up: fenders, lights, bags, ... .
